IGIMS has planned  the following for future:

  • New Centralised Air Conditioner OT Complex with ICU will be made functional.
  • Full fledged academic block with chamber of the consultant, tutorial room, lecture theatre, seminal hall to be functional.
  • Auditorium of capacity 300+ will be made available.
  • Incinarator, one and only of its kind in Eastern India will be made functional.
  • Computerisation of hospital services by the year end.
  • Availability of latest equipments for super specialised departments by year end.
  • A separate emergency (Trauma Centre) will be operational by the year end.
